Brother Goes Wild

Not every Finnish man is ready to wear Ghanaian print, but my brother does it with style!

Unikko / Poppy

... the fabric my mum used for one of her purse (backside) is Marimekko's famous print pattern called Unikko (Poppy). It was designed in 1964 by Maija Isola.

I am not a big fan of Unikko-pattern, but in small quantities is actually looks actually pretty ok.

Purses Made of Pieces

Me and Brown collected some leftover pieces for my mum, this is how she used some of them!

Not the best day to take pictures outside – the sun was hiding behind thick clouds, and I was too impatient to wait – but I think you can still see the beauty of these purses!

P.S. Guess which familiar fabric she used for the toppermost blue purse? ;)

Mum's Tunics

I brought some Ghanaian fabrics to my mum. She designed two simple tunics, and a local taylor made them for her.
